Vintage Souvenir Creamer - Fallen Soldiers Memorial, Burra, South Australia

This is a souvenir/commemorative miniature jug featuring the Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial in Burra, South Australia — a genuine WWI memorial in that town.

Small white glazed porcelain jug with a scalloped/wavy rim and loop handle, gilt trim to the spout and handle (now worn with speckled tarnish/foxing typical of age). The front bears a colour transfer-printed vignette depicting the Fallen Soldiers’ Memorial, Burra, SA — an obelisk-topped war memorial beside a row of buildings, set against a blue-and-amber sky, with the title printed beneath in a curved banner. Consistent with early-to-mid 20th century Australian souvenir/commemorative china. Minor gilt loss and surface speckling/foxing to the glaze; light wear to the rim. Height: 8cm.
