Vintage Icecream Scoop

A vintage ice cream scoop (disher) with a wooden handle and a mechanical lever for releasing the ice cream. The lever mechanism scrapes the inside of the scoop clean, making it easier to serve frozen desserts. 

This piece is marked “Made in Japan” size 3 and dates from the mid-20th century (1950s–1970s). These were commonly used in both homes and soda fountains/diners. Functional and collectible kitchen utensil, ideal for retro kitchens or display.
