Vintage “Drink Raleigh Tomato Juice” advertising bottle/can opener. Combination church-key style opener with a red handle and a nickel-plated steel blade end, featuring a pointed piercer tip and a curved bottle-cap lever. The handle is printed in white script and block lettering: “DRINK Raleigh TOMATO JUICE.” The metal blade is stamped “PLASDIP MELB,” identifying it as made by Plasdip, a Melbourne, Australia manufacturer known for producing painted/dipped-handle advertising openers from the mid-20th century. Length: 11.3 cm (approx. 4.4 in). Shows honest age — light surface pitting and oxidation to the nickel blade, minor edge wear to the paint, consistent with a mid-century promotional giveaway. A nice piece of Australian food & beverage advertising ephemera.
