Front: An embossed floral design with lilacs in purple and white, a green heart-shaped decorative element, and text reading “Tell the Wish of thy heart in Flowers” and “Xmas Wishes.” There’s also a small banner with “Lilac Emblem of First Emotions of Love.”
Back: Standard postcard format with an Australian one penny red stamp, postmarked and addressed to “Miss Healy, Bayer St, Norwood, S.A.” (South Australia). The handwritten message appears to be Christmas and New Year greetings signed by family members (“from Elsie,Georg, Minnie and Mother”).
The card has typical aging and one edge tear which is not visible when flat. If you look at the back of the card on the left hand side where it says Printed in Saxony the tear goes from the edge through the word IN.
