Vintage Capstan Cigarettes promotional Pencil Holder

This is a vintage advertising novelty item - a gold-tone metal tube marked “CAPSTAN CIGARETTES” that contains a mechanical pencil. Capstan was a popular British cigarette brand, and these promotional pencil holders were likely given out as advertising items, probably from the mid-20th century.
