Vintage Australian “Bear Tape” tin by Behr-Manning (Aust.) Pty Ltd., Lidcombe, N.S.W.

This charming blue and yellow tin features the iconic Bear mascot and originally contained transparent adhesive tape (No. 175, 1 roll ½” x 792 inches). The tin shows authentic age-related wear with some surface scratches and patina, particularly on the metal surfaces, which adds to its vintage character. Made in Australia during the mid-20th century when Behr-Manning was a major tape manufacturer. The tin includes original instructions and warnings on the interior. A wonderful piece of Australian industrial history and packaging design.
