Teledex Model T53-6 telephone list finder / address index, made by Spurway’s Industries Pty. Ltd., Australia (Melbourne), from around the 1960s–70s

It’s a “pop-up” desktop telephone/address book — you slide the tab to your letter, press down, and the pages pop open to that section for writing in names and numbers. This is actually still a somewhat recognizable/collectible piece of Australian retro office ephemera — the Teledex brand is fondly remembered. The olive/mustard-yellow colourway, in used condition with normal wear, complete with its metal base plate markings. It can be wall hung or sit on the desktop/phone table. One black foot missing from underside. 18.5cm x10.5cm. Good functional condition.
