This is a beautiful gold-plated orchid souvenir from Singapore made by EMAS (which means “gold” in Malay).
This is a real orchid that has been preserved and gold-plated using a specialized process. The orchid appears to be carefully selected for its form and shape, then chemically treated to become conductive before being plated with base metals and finally preserved in 23.5K gold plating. It’s presented in an elegant red velvet-lined presentation box with a clear protective cover.
