Arabia of Finland — Pomona pattern lidded jar/canister (jam pot or preserve jar), designed by Raija Uosikkinen in the 1960s

Features the classic Pomona motif of stylized berries in orange and purple/aubergine with green stems on a white ground — likely depicting currants or gooseberries. Backstamp reads “ARABIA, Made in Finland, 11-66,” dating manufacture to November 1966. Mid-century modern Scandinavian design, part of Arabia’s beloved fruit-themed kitchenware collection.

Condition: lid and base both intact and fit well together; minor glaze crazing/staining visible along the rim edge (small brown speckling) and slight discoloration to the unglazed foot rim, consistent with age and use. No chips or cracks.
